Model Number: wjsr2070b2ww Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
The washer makes this horrible grinding noise, when it tries to agitate or tries to spin.
Fills: Yes Drains: Yes Agitate: No (horrible grindy sound) Spin: No (horrible grindy sound) Coupler: Has all groves and been cleaned or residue Agitator: All material and foreign objects are cleaned and removed from under Any ideas (on what to do or where to start)? Ads By Google Related Models |

I added an attachment.
When it is on agitation (didn't think to do a spin one), the green part kinda (tries) to move clockwise and counterclockwise, in a jerky motion. The red parts don't move, but can be manually turned. Sorry if it is upside-down. The photo editing software is horrible. |

Looks like the clip is missing from the motor shaft and the pulley/clutch has dropped. Should look like this.
