I have a whirlpool washer model LSQ9549LW3, that agitates fine, but has a problem with spinning. It doesn't spin as fast as it should & I have to give it a push in order to get it started. I just replaced the drive block & now, it spins even slower than before & I have to give it a couple starter pushes. What is my next move to determine what is wrong with my washing machine?

The clutch is probably slipping. Remove the cabinet, jump out the lid switch and observe the clutch hub when it goes to spin. If the clutch hub is spinning but the basket is not, then the clutch is likely slipping. Only buy a genuine Whirlpool clutch, do not buy the $8 clutch from amazon.
