Wife noticed the washer with the door open and the rubber gasket off and tangled in the clothes - all the clothes were saturated so i assume this happened prior to the completion of the spin cycle. She didn't hear any loud noises. I drained the pump and a lot of water came out. I replaced the gasket as best i could (probably will need to replace it), closed the door and attempted to start the washer. The water ran, but no spinning whatsoever. I stopped the washer and the water drained. When I opened the door I moved the tub and noticed that it was pretty loose. Is it possible that it became unhooked/unhinged? If so, what would cause that? My wife did wash one of our dog's beds and there was a significant amount of dog hair, not sure if that caused the malfunction. I am not handy but will give a shot at trying to fix on my own before calling a repairperson.
