Washer leaks from front during drain/spin cycle. Replaced pump, still leaks. Performed one test cycle without clothes and no water leaked. Removed cabinet after wash cycle with clothes but unable to find wet components or water stains indicating source of leak.

Remove the washer cabinet. Bypass the lid switch and run a load watching for a water leak. Post the results.

Thanks Gene. I was not sure if it was okay to run machine without cabinet. I followed your suggestion and found that the new pump I installed is defective. It is leaking from the lower seam. No other leaks found at this time. Now it is time to explore the APP parts warranty process.

If you make a million parts odds are a few will fail. I am a auto mechanic and see it often. The good news is APP has and excellent parts warranty procedure. The info on the web site says you have to pay for all shipping, but that sounded like bull pucky so I called them directly. Eric, in customer service, sent me a new part for no charge which I received two days later and said he would refund my original shipping charge (still waiting for it to hit bank). Thank you APP for great customer service. The bad news is I have now found another leak (possibly the original) after replacing defective pump. I found water during drain/spin leaking from bottom of tub onto neutral drain transmission (as described by parts diagram). Parts diagram would seem to indicate worn out center post gasket. Do you agree? Any other known wear points with leak in same area? Thanks again for your help Gene.

It could a bad gasket or, as I've seen a few times, just a hole in the plastic outer tub. I fixed it with an epoxy and an aluminum self adhesive duct tape. You can determine what is it only after you will take the washer apart.
