I have a Maytag washer that will fill with water but then stops it doesn't go to wash mode and start agitating unless you turn the switch off and manually move it and turn back on . I have replaced the timer an electric controller.it's as if it is not getting the singnal to agitate or procede to next function . any ideas?

I cannot get your model number to come up as a known model, but this does sound a control unit problem. Also check the connections and the wiring for any loose connections or frayed or shorted out wires.
