I have a Maytag washer that when off balance does not stop. All previous washers always stop when off balance. What do I need to do?

This model does not appear to have an unbalanced switch which is what causes the machine to stop with an unbalanced load.

You need to check your suspension components, which you can do by removing the front panel and operating the machine to see if something like a support spring is broken.
