The fabric softener dispenser suddenly stopped dispensing. At the end of the cycle, it will be full of water and FS. Once in awhile it will dispense at the end of the cycle when I begin taking the clothes out. I have had this machine 18 months.

Any help would be appreciated.

The first thing I would do is clean the dispenser as described in the "Use and Care" manual (page 11).

Also it is very important to use a proper amount of the fabric softener.

I do clean the dispenser monthly and use the correct amout of softener.
It's strange it stopped dispensing suddenly. I would venture a guess that a solenoid or whatever it's called that makes the FS dispense at the proper time stopped working.
Any idea as to what part that might be?
