Washer Wont Spin Or Drain
Model Number: PAV2360AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
HELLO our maytag washer modle PAV2360AWW REV 16 SEREAL 16815632AR. will fill but will not spin or will not drain it just makes a buzing noise can some one please make sense of this problem,thank you tony.annese

The first thing you want to do is to take off the front panel and check for something caught between the tub and basket and check for something caught in the pump and jamming it.
If this checks out take off the belt and operate the machine with the front panel off to see if the motor turns ok without a load. Also see if the pulley will turn freely. This will tell you if the problem is with the motor or the transmission.
