Hello, my Kenmore toploading washer is dead. It has a touch pad controls but nothing lights up. I have replaced the controller since it had previously become faulty and had the same symptoms but still nothing works. I tested the touch pads and they seem to be okay but I'm not 100% sure. There's power going to the controller according to my voltage meter. Is there anything obvious I should be looking for? Thanks for any advice. Bob

If power is getting to the control board and it is not lighting up it is likely the board is bad.
If you purchased the replacement one recently contact the selling company and see if it is under warranty and if so get a replacement.

Thanks. That's what I suspect, too. I've got Sears coming in to check things out in a week since I bought the part from them. Bob
