Washing machine
Model Number: LA5578XTW1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
washer fills and drains but wont agitate. If it fills with just water it tries to agitate very slowly. makes a grinding/buzzing kinda noise. also tub doesnt spin

Most likey, motor coupler that joins motor shaft to transmission is bad and needs replacing.
