Model Number: 110.24712300 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
I have tried to find the answer. I'm hoping someone on here can help.
The washer works perfect except on the delicate or short cycles. It makes this awful sound when it switches to the short cycle. It still agitates and will complete if left but I'm afraid it will mess up the washer so I always wait for it and switch it manually to the rinse cycle. Itsounds like it is struggling very hard. It makes the noise even if empty so I dont think its overloaded lol. Anyone know a fix? Ads By Google Related Models |

Since it works ok on regular cycles I suspect the timer is the problem, although a bad timer should not produce the problems you are having.
So try replacing the timer and if you buy from this site and the part does not fix things you can return it.
