Whirpool washer won't drain, makes grinding noise
Model Number: LSQ9600LW1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
My washer makes an awful racket after the agitate cycle, before spinning.
it will not drain - and will not spin. I removed the drain pump and it looks free of any obstructions, as do the hoses. the motor coupler has a broken tab - but I don't understand why it won't drain, as the pump is coupled directly to the motor.... pls. help  Ads By Google Related Models Last edited by coldbeerchief : 01-07-2013 at 10:07 PM.

Fixed....
replaced the coupler and everything works now.
thanks for all your help - this saved me a bunch of $$$
