replacing the balance ring
Model Number: ATW4475TQO Brand: Admiral Age: Less than 1 year
I have a Admrial ATW4475XQO top load washer. The balance ring is bad and I was going to replace it but I am not sure how to remove it. It has locking notches that you turn to lock it in place. How do you unlock it to remove it. I tried to unlock it but I was unable to it was very tight.

I don't have firsthand knowledge but the parts diagram shows a single screw on the outside circumference of the ring that I suppose locks it to the tub.
