Old Belt driven Whirlpool
Model Number: la5500xkn2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
I need help diagnosing a problem with my old whirlpool belt driven (wig wag) washer. The washer is draining while on run cycle immediatly after filling. Then it starts refilling upon reaching a low water level. A second problem seems that the washer does not seem to be wringing out all the way upon final spin?

Thanks Zcimba! I checked the wig wag and it was not stuck in drain mode. The pump arm also appears to be connected to the slide. However it seems to be stuck in drain mode. Could it be a problem with the pump mechanism or something stuck inside it?
