Washer is a series 12.

Washer originally would not complete spin cycle. Pump is working fine. I was told more than likely it was the board was bad. I ordered this board Whirlpool 34001496 Control Board Sensor - AppliancePartsPros.com

It came w a motion sensor. Sensor would not plug into board in cn11 as per instructions. I called appliancepartspro I was told it was wrong board for my washer. (still doesnt explain why motion sensor that came w board would not plug into board where instructions called for) So I ordered the the other board which is

The new board did come w a motion sensor. Board works but, washer will complete all cycles but when it comes to spin cycle it never goes into a high spin. I thought possibly the door latch mechanism was bad. Changed it out, still same problem. I also tested motor and had 11 ohms between each wire at board. is it possible this board requires the motion sensor as well?
or is there something else that could cause this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated...
