Model # S2200Y0WW - Machine performs normally until the timer gets to the agitation cycle . It then stops and does nothing . If you manually advance it past that cycle to the spin cycle , it works normally . I only recently bought this machine from a private party and have no history on it ? The machine looks relatively new with no apparent repairs or service indicators . In the past 4 weeks ( since I bought it ) , it has performed normally . Bad timer or ...? Finances are a problem at the moment which requires me to repair it myself ! Any thoughts or similar history with your own washer . Any and all help will truly be appreciated !

That's a 13 year old model. So it fills, stops filling and then does nothing? Could be the water level pressure switch or the timer. Lid switch is ok if it's spinning. You can check the pressure switch with a multimeter. Need to open control panel to get to the pressure switch and open the front panel to get to the pressure hose. Remove hose from air dome on left side of tub and gently blow into it to activate the switch while checking continuity across switch terminals where the yel/blk and vio wires connect. Unplug washer of course for this test.
