Hello,
Read some posts about why my washer might not be draining. I've opened the panel, tipped it up and checked for blockages and didn't find anything except a little slime. Guess checking pockets does help! Although with this model, I don't see how much could get through except hair, etc.

Was able to drain most of the water out by lowering the hose coming out the back to floor level. Didn't have any gunk wash out. Was expecting a dog hair clot, but the water flowed freely.

It goes through the wash cycle, and does the alternating spin. It makes almost a clicking sound during that step.

What to do next?
Many thanks for your help.

I have a kenmore front load washer that is not pumping out all the water. I took the pump out to be sure no blockages. Pump makes a weird sound though when running(like gravel is in the pump)and the pump is running all through the final spin. I did check the door latch because it never went through a final spin until i check the door latch and it seemed like it did not engage well enough or the door latch may be wore. I am wondering if i need a new pump and/or timer.

Hi.

Check if the drain pump gets a 120VAC and runs. If it does remove and check coin trap Part number: 131784700
Part number: 131784700

and inside the drain pump Part number: 137108000
Part number: 137108000

Post the results.

Simon.

Thanks Simon. The coin trap was empty, just a little slime.

Hello, I received the part and installed it today. It wasn't complicated to install, but it wasn't a breeze getting the clamps back in place. However, it's done and the test load rinsed and drained appropriately, and I'm hoping those clamps are securely in place.
Many thanks for your advice!
