Kenmore 90 won't agitate but will spin
Model Number: 11026932690 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
If I put in a reg load the washer dulls up but will not agitate. Then go's to drain then spins ok. I thought it was the motor but that works well. It was working for a while ok on small loads but not it won't agitate on any cycle. Any ideas. The washer is a great shape it had regular maintanance but the policy ran out and I think I can fix this with your tech help. Thanks

Hi.
You need to determine if this is bad agitator or transmission. Remove the agitator and see if the transmission shaft is turning back and forth and you can't stop it by hand. If that the case - replace the agitator Part number: 3947517 If you can stop the shaft or it's not moving at all - replace the transmission Part number: 3360629 Post the results. Simon.
