washer timer
Model Number: lat5914aae Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Maytag dependable care plus washer. The washer will fill with water on all cycles and the timer will advance but it will only cycle through on delicate. Do I need to replace the timer?

Hi.
Open the front panel, set the timer for regular and after washer fills up and should agitate check with voltmeter if there is 120VAC between BLK and YEL wires at the motor switch. If there is no voltage - replace the timer Part number: 22001252 If there is 120VAC - replace the motor - Part number: 12002353 Here are the breakdown diagrams and 01-Base parts for Maytag LAT5914AAE - AppliancePartsPros.com Post the results.
