lid lock
Model Number: mvwx600xw0 Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Lid remained locked after cycle was finished. I ended up forcing the lid open. to find that the machine was unable to lock. I replaced the lid latch and the strike. what eles could it be. I hear the relay click but the lock doesnt Latch. any help would be great . Thanks

Hi.
Open the control panel and check if the connector J15 of the main control board fully inserted. If it does and the harness not damaged - replace the main control Part number: W10393454 Post the results. Simon. P.S. You can return the part even installed one.
