Maytag no Spin/Hum and electrical smell
Model Number: Maytag mtw 5630tq1 Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
I have a Maytag MTW 5630tq1 Top Load washer. The spin cycle has stopped working after a load that was too large and unbalanced. The machine did NOT kick out when the load was un balanced. It seemed to work for the rest of the load after removing and balancing the load, however, the next day it did not spin for a load.
There was a strong electrical or burning smell. I was able to get it to spin briefly by switching to a different spin cycle until finally, now all it does is hum now when spin is selected. HELP!!!!  Ads By Google Related Models
