Washer adds water after spin cycle
Model Number: MVWC6ESWW1 Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
Washer adds water after spin cycle, leaving clothes wet. It seems to operate normally otherwise.

The timer is set to add water at the beginning of the spin cycle to get rid of suds. It sounds like your timer is doing this at the end, so try replacing the timer and see if that fixes things.
