kenmore 80 series fills with water but wont agitate,spin,or drain
Model Number: 23822100 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
I have a Kenmore 80 series washer that all of a sudden fills with water but won't do anything after that the Nov moves and sort of hums that whole cycle but nothing is happening after it will please help

Hi.
So correct me if I'm wrong. The washer fills up with water and nothing happens at all? If that is right you need to check the water level switch. Contacts V - T should have continuity with the tub full of water.If no continuity - install the jumper wire if you can between those two wires. Washer should start agitating. In that case - replace the water level switch Part number: W10335056 Check the lid switch. Disconnect the lid switch plug inside the control panel and with lid closed you should have continuity between two outside contacts. No continuity - replace the switch Part number: 3949238 Use the video clip for instructions. Simon.
