Transmission problems
Model Number: FEX831FSO Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
Having issues with the washer leaking and becoming unbalanced almost every load on Large load setting. i know the bearing is not the best. I bought new bearing and plan to take out transmission and take to a machine shop and have it repressed. ok so here's what i see. the washer agitator rotates and the drum rotates almost just as fast spilling water over the top of the drum. its like instead of agitator and drum working properly there not freely spinning like normal. They move freely by hand but seem a little stiff. I really need help before i sink a lot of money in this thing. could it just be the bearing ?
