Model Number: WFW9600TW01 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Washer displayed the SUD/F35 code which must be common for this machine. The complete Diagnostic Test ran & reported that all was OK. We replaced the Pressure Switch and did all the inspections that are recommended (eg Check hose to switch, Check drain hoses, check pump filter etc).
After doing the above repair/checks, the code changed to F21 (replace Pump). Now the Diagnostic test fails in the first step and reports an F21 also. The pump worked before and emptied the machine properly. What's next & will every repair just lead to another repair that suggests that we throw more parts at it. Even though it is an almost new machine, do we just have to scrap it and buy another brand? Ads By Google Related Models |
