Washer Repair

I need to replace the boot gasket on my washer. I have ordered the part #246270, which appears to be the correct gasket. It came with 2 clamps and a gasket holder. My question is about the clamps. They appear too big, 20" in diameter while the gasket is only 18" in diameter. Your parts department thinks they are correct. Please advise.

I'm going to reply to my own post since I can't get a reply from a pro. I decided to take the old gasket off and compare it to the new parts that I ordered from Appliance Parts Pros. I should have recieved a 18" and a 20" wire clamp, instead I got 2 20" clamps. The 20" clamp goes on the inside of the gasket and the 18" which I reused the old one, is on the front of the gasket. The only hard part is putting on the 18" wire clamp.
