maytag washer no rinse cycle
Model Number: PAVT920AWW Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
Fills for rinse then loud noise ( sounds like dry bearing ) then nothing...noise continues until timer go,s intospin. All other cycles work

This is puzzling, since the rinse agitation is just a repeat of the wash agitation using cold water. If it works for the wash agitation it should work for the rinse.
I would try changing out the timer, this part here. Part number: AP4024934 and also operate it with the front panel off and see if you can see what is happening when it tries to agitate in the rinse cycle.
