Maytag Bearing Repair
Model Number: LAT9306AAM Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
serial #11219755QY I replaced the tub bearing and now water is leaking out of the 6 channels / grooves in the rubber part underneith the tub. I am not sure how tight to make the nut on top of the "seal kit"? (the accordian shaped round rubber thing with the spring inside). I have tried different tensions - the first time I tightened it as much as possible. I don't see any damage.

Have you replaced just the tub bearing 6-2040130?
It must be replaced together with the seal kit 6-2095720. If you did not do it, that's why most likely it's leaking. - The seal kit Part number: 6-2095720 Gene. BTW, in order to unscrew and/or tight the spanner nut you will need a special spanner wrench Part number: TJ90TB123A
