It's almost impossible to do any troubleshooting and/or find replacement parts without the model number. Check for the name plate on the door frame. Remove the front bottom access panel and check for an envelope with the tech sheet.

Check for any error code displayed as described in the tech sheet. If there is no error code displayed, run the Diagnostic test. Post the results.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Frigidaire FTF2140ES0 Washer - AppliancePartsPros.com

Per the tech sheet 4 & 2 corresponds to the error code E42 which means "the door remains locked after cycle is complete". Is this correct?

If yes then more likely the problem is a bad door switch/lock assembly.

- The door lock assembly Part number: 131763202

Part number: 131763202
