Hello....
I recently cleaned out the drain hose on my washer and it worked fine...until the other day. I went to start it this morning, loaded clothes, set the cycle and water temp, closed the door, the start light was on, pressed the start button, and it just started blinking. the door did not click to lock and it just blinks. Can someone help me please?
thanks in advance.

I think we have three possibilities here, tyhe door lock assembly, the wiring between the door lock assembly and the main control unit.

Look inside the lower service panel to find some tech notes that will tell you how to generate some diagnostics and how to test those components. Check the wiring between the door lock assembly and the control unit for any breaks, bad connections or lack of continuity.

The wiring is probably ok, leaving it 50-50 between the door lock and the control unit. My money is on the door lock.

Great, glad you got it fixed. Yes we know the part is expensive but think of how much you saved by DIY.

Thanks for the update, good luck with your machine.
