I had to replace the washer lock. The one I received, Part # 131763202 does not look like the original, nor does the door strike fit into it. I have not tried to install it since I already know the door will not close once I do.

Is there another strike that will fit the new lock, as well as the washer door?

Or is there an original lock available?

I have researched another lock part # 131888900, but this looks like a kit of some kind with a lot of other parts along with it, which looks complicated. Also, it doesn't seem to be available.

According the parts diagram this is the correct replacement door lock. As long as the electrical connections fits in properly you are good. Just replace the door strike, does the old one look different? Part number: 131279001

I replaced the strike and its exactly the same as the original. It will in no way fit the new lock.
