maytag fills with water close to spin cycle and stops 4 out of 10 times cant get it to move on for a period of time repairman replaced timer did not fix

washer works fine till it gets ready to rinse and spin then sometimes it stops, if you try to move to diff spin cycle its just dead. then after a peiod you might turn on and it will take off and finish. it might run 2 or3 loads fine before it dose it again

Remove the washer cabinet. Locate the pressure hose (#21 at the diagram) connected to the outer tub. Make sure it is clean and not twisted or pinched. The other end of the hose should be connected to the switch in the control panel. Disconnect it there and blow some air through the hose.
