I dont want to pay $22 (******** new) or $130+ (what a ripoff) from appliance parts pros etc... just to get an impeller. Anyone know where to find one? I'm still looking so if I find it I'll post the link. piecacrap little pump anyway, thinking about putting some kind of real pump on there that doesn't stall or break with a coin. You think they would have maybe thought that sometimes people might leave a coin or pick or something in their pocket and make a pump that would deal with it? Its been pretty good machine other than pump and occasionally decides to get its brains muddled up and set e3 codes for no apparent reason, nothing a good old test mode cycle wont fix.
thanks,

I appreciate the fact that you are trying to save money. That is what this site is all about, giving people the free knowledge and great parts prices, low shipping costs and quick delivery so they can save the cost of a repair tech for work that they can do themselves.

You do realize, however, that you are asking for free help from a site which you are calling a "ripoff". That seems kind of harsh.

I can only advise you to check used parts on the internet, and while I understand your frustration, the cost of parts and their susceptibility to breaking is not the fault of this site, it is Maytag's. But if you can get your impeller for $22.00 I suggest you go ahead and do so, put it in and hopefully enjoy your washer for many years to come.
