My maytag washing machine was making a horrible screeching sound and on the spin cycle. Now it won't spin at all. I have been told it could be the brake rotor or the spin bearning. I'm in need of some help.

When the clutch went out of or whirlpool it screached loud enough you could hear it outside the house. We replaced the clutch assembly and were back in business with a working washer again. Harlan
