Hello all , have a GE washer WJRE5550K2WW it will go through a cycle fine ,wash drain ,spin etc . untile it gets to the finial spin , then it just drains no spin,leaves wet clothes. If I turn thr selector to drain spin that works fine . Any Ideas , Thanks

It would seem to be ok mechanically so I would try replacing the control unit.

well did that new motor control board , no luck . Gets better now it washes when it should spin , washes with no water , haha . drains when should spin . checked the motor for error codes .........none . still scratching my head

Try resetting it using this guide

When the machine acts up and there are no codes it is usually the motor/inverter, but not always. These GE are not easily diagnosed.

well i just checked the shifter from what I could find should check 98 ohms it checks 71 ohms , but now I am thinking time to lick my wounds and quit pouring money down a bad hole and get another brand

Good decision. These GE's are complicated for no good reason. A good basic top loader will do just as good a job for you, cost less and have fewer and less expensive repairs.
