Washer refills and redoes cycle
Model Number: 110 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
My Kenmore Compact Automatic Washer, model 110, is hooked up to a faucet as a portable installation. A normal load is supposed to take 12 minutes and a perm press load 10 minutes. However, it takes close to 45 minutes for both normal and perm press loads. The washer starts, fills, agitates, squeezes out the water, then refills and does it all over again. I assume the first fill is the wash cycle and the second fill is the rinse cycle. If so, then it is only supposed to take 12, 10, or 6 minutes, yet it takes nearly four times as long for each load type. Is this normal or not? If not, is it something that can be fixed?
