My wife put some clothes in the washer and went to move them to the dryer and found the clothes were soaking wet which suggests the spin cycle never started. When she tried to start a new load by pulling the timer knob out, the washer would not start. I've already checked the breaker and the outlet and both are good. Is the timer a common failure for this symptom? Any advise for diagnosis would be appreciated. Thanks!
