Whirlpool washer will drain but wont spin
Model Number: lxr6232eqo Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
When my washer goes into the spin cycle it will drain and sounds like it is spinning but the tub holding the clothes is not spinning and I have soaked clothes. They are clean but still dripping wet. What may be the problem and can it be fixed.

Hi.
Check if the washer agitates. If it's not - most likely there is bad motor coupling Part number: 285753A Post the results. Simon.

Hi.
Remove the agitator and check the drive block Part number: 389140 If that is OK -replace the clutch Part number: 285785 Post the results. Simon.
