Our washer will do everything normal except for the final drain and spin.

We load our clothes, it will fill and agitate, drain and fill again just fine. However at the end when it is supposed to drain after the final rinse, it won't drain and move on to the spin cycle.

We will come out and the tub will be still full with water. Sometimes we'll have to play with the timer knob and wiggle it back and forth or hold it pulled out in order for it to drain and spin. It's an exhaustive method and takes a lot of hand tinkering. Even after we get it to fully drain and move on to the spin cycle, we have to keep playing with the knob in order to get to fully get through the cycle.

I checked the Ohm's on it and it read a .001.

Any helpful advice would be much appreciated.

I can record and post a video if necessary.

Sounds like the problem is a bad timer.
