Unknown substance floating in washing machine
Model Number: 110.28802890 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
Yesterday when my wife was doing a load of wash, she pulled the sheets out and they had spots of unknown substance on them. Looked like flaky particles brown/black in color. Very thin. We both thought that maybe some dirt found it's way in. She put the sheets in the dryer and when she took them out, all the flaky stuff was gone. We ran the machine through multiple cycles and each and everyone of the cycles the machine had this flaky stuff floating in it. Could it possibly be some kind of gasket that has dried out and is getting into the wash tub? Any suggestions would be helpful
