loud pitch soud on spin cyle only
Model Number: LAT8506AAE Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
Hello all,
Ihave this old maytag washer that is built like tank but lately has been making this terribly loud picth noise only on spin cycle. I hope some one could tell me if they had this problem and whats the fix. thanks. Ads By Google Related Models

These are great machines. Take off the front cover and check for something caught between the tub and drum, but I am afraid the problem is likely with the tub bearing. It could also be the brakes hanging up.
Anyway listen to it run and you may be able to pinpoint the location of the noise.
