Washer fills does not agitate only spins on perm press, think is spring or ? can not remove nut,spanner off tub to remove tub?

No, It was quiet and I thought I blew a fuse but did not, is a new motor .

I move the knob around and the only responce is on the spin permenent press cycle nothing else works.

I would remove the timer cover and look for burnt contacts. If so, order a new timer AP3019158
|

I have removed the entire wire harness and all connections and wires look good except one spot on the ground wire a a bit bent. Will it spin in the permanent cycle it the lid switch were bad, otherwise I'm thinking clutch spring?
