This washer fills up and then stops, I have to lift the lid and drop it back down and then it starts and completes the cycle. I have already replaced the lid switch and it still does the same thing. Any help in determining what is wrong with this is appreciated. Thank you. J

Can you hear the lid switch click if you will close the lid slowly?

Gene.

The problem can be a bad lid switch or it's not engaging properly by the lid.
