Our washer fills but won't start, spin or agitate. I replaced the motor coupling but no change. I suspect it may be the lid switch but not really sure. How do I test the lid switch to verify this is the problem. What other problem could it be?

You can test the lid switch by opening up the console and disconnecting the lid switch from the line where it comes from the control panel. Then use a multi-meter to test continuity on the switch when it is close (lid is down).
