my rinse cycle on my washer dont work

Model Number: alw780qaw Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years

My washer will not complete its rinse cycle. The washer was overloaded wich it burnt the belt up. I replaced the belt ran the washer threw its cycles, and it gets to the first rinse. It trys to cycle but then just stops before it gets up to speed. I looked into it a little more and drained all the water out of it, ran it again on rinse and it worked fine with nothing in it. So I believe it is the clutch, I am not sure but some advice could help.

I don't think this model has a clutch, check the spin helix and related parts on this page.
