my old washing machine

Model Number: LBR5232EQ1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

My washing machine comes on, the water runs, it fills with water, agitates, Doesnt spin or drain.
I was told, the problem could be the lid switch or the water pump.
Which do you think is the problem, or does anyone have another suggestion?
I would also like some good safe tips on how to self repair my washing machine
