Maytag washer filled with water then went dead
Model Number: LAT9635AAM Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
This morning I turned the washer on and it filled with water then just went dead. Wont respond to any controls. Checked the fuse, it was blown, replaced the fuse, the water came on for a second then it was back to being dead. Now I have a full washer that wont aggitate, spin, or drain. Is there another fuse somewhere? I checked the one behind the control panel.

If one of the other switches on the lid switch assembly is not working properly the fuse will blow. I recommend changing the lid switch assembly (#34 on parts breakdown). Clothes Washer Repair Guide
