Question Washer shaking badly after replacing shocks
Model Number: XC11801854   Brand: Frigidaire   Age: More than 10 years

My washer was rattling and shaking badly; so, I took it apart and found a necklace had been in the wash. I removed the necklace, I replaced the shocks and it has not helped. There does not appear to be any play in the bearings. I lowered the leveling screws and turned the leveling screws all the way in. The machine is level and still rattling and shaking badly whether there is laundry in the machine or not. Do you think it would help to replace springs and or bearing? Help.

Did you use a level when you were leveling the washer?

Is the washer resting solid?

What kind of floor is under the washer?

What is the complete model number of the washer?

Just wanted to say thanks for getting back to me. I found my problem. The spider arms that drive the tub are cracked. I had hoped to purchase just that part. But unfortunately I have to buy tub and all. Sorry it took so long for me to answer. I will be in touch if I have any more problems. Thanks again.
