Hello, my washer/dryer stackable stopped working recently. I went to turn on the dryer after a wash, and noticed that the washer started filling instead. The washer will no longer turn on using the wash knob. I also noted that if I turn the washer to a run position and push the dryer start button the dryer buzzer goes off. Would this be a short circuit in the timer?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just a follow up for posterity:
It turns out my landlord had done some wiring and one of the wires had come out of it's wire nut. He put it back and all is good.
