On this machine there is a center knob which you push in to engage the washing cycle rotery switch and pull out to start the cycle. The knob no longer engages the rotery switch. The knob threads are not damaged and the dial behind the knob still moves the rotery switch. All of the electrical functions work properly. Where is the clutch that the knob is supposed to engage located? Is it between the knob and dial or is it in the rotery switch? This will help me to know which parts to order to fix this. This has been a totally trouble free machine untell this problem. Thanks Martin

Hi Martin

It may be that the timer has come loose from its moorings. Take out the two screws that hold the console to the cabinet and see if it is loose.

You may need a new timer, which unfortunately for your machine is rather expensive.

Here is the part

Part number: AP3018716
